Educated in Arboriculture and Aesthetic Pruning at Merritt College in Oakland, CA. Studied intensively with Dennis Makishima, the founder of Aesthetic Pruning in the Bay Area, and trained with Master Pruner Yuki Nara.

Instructor in Basic Pruning and Aesthetic Pruning at Merritt College.

Current President of the Aesthetic Pruners Association.
